Moz And Cat : Review

Dileep's latest film Moz And Cat has released all across Kerala in around 67 screens. This new film from veteran director Fazil is Dileep's Vishu offering to the viewers of Malayalam films and is expected to create big reports from the family audience. The movie produced and distributed by Johny Sagariga fetched the best of the theatres in all major cities.
Quite frankly speaking, this new Dileep starrer is nothing but a major disappointment. The whole package looks dull and outdated, the storyline is confusing and lacks clarity, the situations are jaded and artificial, and most of the performances are quite ordinary. Screenplay is the much weaker link in the movie and the dialogues sound contrived and melodramatic.
The major advantage with this film is that it have introduced a new heroine to Malayalam, Aswathy Ashok. She as well as the little girl Baby Nivedita were ok with their roles. Dileep tried his level best to make the movie interesting but failed miserably since even a great actor is not able to make a movie great if the script is such a weak one. The major let down when the acting is considered will be actor Rahman, who was totally a nonsense throughout the film.
In the technical part, the major let down is from the director of the movie, Fazil himself. It can be quite clearly stated that the veteran director is nowhere near to his golden times. This film can be considered as his worst movie till date. Rest of the team were simply ok with their own jobs. Music of the movie conducted by veteran Ouseappachan can be considered as a descent one when compared with the others.
All in all, this new Dileep starrer Moz And Cat is a boring one with the same old cliched story. I prefer you to stay away from the theatres where this movie is playing.

Passenger : Movie Review

New Malayalam film, Passenger released today. This new Malayalam film featured Dileep and Sreenivasan in the lead roles. Mamta Mohandas was also in the film with an important role. This new film was directed by a debutant director Ranjit Shankar and was distributed all around Kerala by Central Pictures.
According to my view, this film is a worth one to watch. This film is all about a fateful night that changed the lives of some people in a convincing manner. This film, which is an edge of the seat thriller succeeded in keeping the intricacies of the narrative intact. All the credit for the makers of this film, for making it in such a good manner.
The major plus point with this film is that all the actors in the film have performed to their level best. The acting skills of Sreenivasan was once again proved. Mamta and Nedumudi Venu palyed their roles very well. Dileep, after a bunch of wasteful characters have got a powerful role to perform. Jagathy's role as the villian is also a treat to watch.
In the technical part, all the credits must be given to the debutant director for his excellent work. He have done an excellent work in presenting the story as an engrossing thriller. Even though, the film has its loose ends in the script it is not at all a bad one when compared with some of the recently released movies.
All in all, this new film Passenger is a must watch. I promise, it won't be a let down and also this new film features a strong message to the people of current society. This film will surely end up it's run as a good notable one.
